Dato' Rahim is an experienced compliance and finance personnel who has worked with multiple reputable corporates and government authorities over the years including Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), Ministry of Finance, Malaysia, Koperasi Pendidikan Islam Malaysia Bhd (UKHWAH), Rosegate Insurance Broker and ACE Money Exchange Sdn. Bhd.

 

In 1979, Dato' Rahim held the numerous position throughout his time at BNM where he was tasked to manage currency consignment to BNM’s branches throughout Malaysia and was involved in monitoring and investigating forgery cases.

 

In 2013, he joined the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia and acted as the Special Officer to Deputy Minister of Finance. While in the Ministry, he was the Advisor to the Ministry in the allocation of financial aid to Government Agencies and successfully assisted a joint venture between PR Builders Sdn Bhd and HCD-PRBSB Co. Ltd in the process of securing a USD42 million loan from EXIM Bank for the construction of a shopping mall in Phnom Penh.
